Daily Prayers
Inverclyde Muslim Centre offers the five daily Salah prayers in congregation, the weekly Friday (Jumu’ah) prayer, and special congregational prayers for Eid ul Fitr and Eid ul Adha. The Centre provides a welcoming and peaceful environment for worship, reflection, and spiritual connection for the local Muslim community.

At IMC, we believe in nurturing both faith and well-being. Alongside Islamic education, we offer supportive activities that encourage teamwork, confidence, and a healthy lifestyle in a safe and positive environment.
FOOD PROGRAMMES
Ramdan Iftar
Since 2022, Inverclyde Muslim Centre has been serving iftar meals daily during the holy month of Ramadan. These meals provide a warm and welcoming environment for the community to break their fast together. Our iftar gatherings are more than just meals; they are an opportunity to strengthen bonds, reflect on the blessings of Ramadan, and share in the joy of community. In addition, the Centre provides freshly cooked meals to refugees and those in need from time to time, supporting them with care and compassion.
Community Program
Inverclyde Muslim Centre organises community activities in the Centre with local authorities and members of the local community from diverse backgrounds to promote understanding of different faith values. These activities encourage dialogue, mutual respect, and cooperation, helping to build a peaceful, inclusive, and united community.
Celebrate the Joy of Islamic Festival
Inverclyde Muslim Centre organises Islamic festivals where members of the local community are welcomed into the Centre to meet, connect, and learn about one another. These celebrations include major Islamic occasions such as Eid ul Fitr and Eid ul Adha, fostering understanding, togetherness, and community spirit.
Funeral Services
Inverclyde Muslim Centre is pleased to announce that local funeral services will soon be available for the Muslim community. The local councils have allocated a dedicated space for Muslim burials at Kilmacolm Cemetery, ensuring that members of our community can have a respectful and dignified final resting place.
Our centre is here to support families throughout the process. This includes guidance on funeral arrangements, preparing the body according to Islamic traditions, coordinating with the cemetery, and offering emotional and practical support for grieving families.
